The single most flexible way to donate is to donate to Greatest Need.  A Greatest Need Donation allows us to respond quickly to changing needs.  This is a particularly useful tool in a wartime environment when needs shift constantly and urgently.  Multiple greatest need donations can easily be assembled to meet a need that has not been met by differing earmarked donations and in cases in which earmarked donations are not sufficient to meet a particular need, greatest need donations can fill the gap making it possible to meet needs that might not otherwise be met. If a donor wants to provide a greatest need donation but has a preference on how the funds are spent, the donor can leave a comment on the donation page and The Humanity Funds will make every effort to meet the donor request but still have the flexibility to move the funds if the donor request cannot be met or has been overtaken by events.
